We have also had people register with reasons such as "to hear what's going on around the place", or "to find out where all the action is", thinking that we discuss or post about all the current action going on around the State that we may hear on our radios, or that we keep a running commentary on events or incidents etc, however, this is something we do not regularly do, although members may from time to time post about specific incidents or happenings that are going on, though we are not a 'news service' or provide running information on normal everyday things, so if your signing up under the presumption that you're going to find out what is happening around the place or that we provide some sort of news service based on what we hear, then it might pay to rethink if this is the right place for you as that is not our main purpose.

This forum is aimed mainly at the Radio Enthusiasts who love to tinker or experiment with anything to do with RF, as well as listening to things of course, getting the most out of your gear, discussing the latest RF technology, helping out other like-minded people by sharing knowledge and experience, and all other aspects of this great hobby, and if this sounds like you then continue on and register to become a part of this growing community!

Want to speed up your registration request?... Well, if you are a registered Amateur Radio operator then please put your callsign in when filling out your registration details, your callsign will not be shared or made public without your express permission, this is for our records only and helps us to check that your a genuine person and speeds up your registration process.

Take Note: We check and investigate every sign-up, this includes social media accounts and also other forums, so if you are up to no good elsewhere then expect us to find out, and we may determine your suitability as a member here based on your behaviour elsewhere!

Finally, when giving your reason for wanting to join up here, please be original and descriptive by at least putting in a bit of effort, ones such as "I'm interested" or "Like scanners" or other short non-descriptive reasons really do not tell us much or show your genuinely interested in this hobby or wanting to be a member, so at least put some thought into your reason!
